Simple Fruit Cobbler
Ingredients:
1 (12.5-ounce) can blackberries with juice*
1 stick butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cup milk
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put butter in cobbler dish and place in oven until completely melted.
While butter melts, mix flour, 1 cup sugar and milk. Pour batter over melted butter. Spoon canned fruit over batter, do not stir. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup sugar over fruit.
Bake 1 hour. Allow to cool 10 minutes before scooping and serving with a dollop of ice cream!
*Your favorite fruit can be substituted. Try this recipe with cherries, strawberries, peaches, pears, blueberries or pineapple. Simple and delicious!
