King Ranch Tortilla Bake

Ingredients:
1 medium onion, chopped
1 T. butter
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
¾ cup chicken broth
1 can black beans, drained
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
12 tortillas
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large skillet, brown onion in butter until soft and translucent. In a medium bowl, mix soup, broth, chilies and drained beans. Add the soup/bean mixture to the browned onions in the skillet and heat through.

In a 9x13 greased casserole dish, place a layer of tortillas on the bottom. Spread a layer of chicken on top. Scoop the soup/bean mix on top of the chicken and layer with cheese. Repeat layers ending with cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes.
