Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) box fettuccine noodles
2 cups heavy cream
1 stick butter
2 T. cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
garlic powder & pepper to taste

Instructions:

Cook fettuccine noodles in boiling salted water until cooked through.
In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Simmer together until butter and cheese has melted and sauce begins to thicken; 6-8 minutes. Add the Parmesan cheese. Simmer on low an additional 5 minutes until sauce is thick. Serve over a bed of warm fettuccine noodles, sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper to taste.
