Baked Penne Lasagna
Ingredients:
1 lb. penne pasta, prepared according to package instructions
½ lb. ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cups water
2 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. Italian seasoning
1 T. instant beef flavor bouillon
1 ½ cups Ricotta cheese
2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Cook beef and onion in large saucepan, stirring occasionally, until beef is no longer pink. Add water, tomato paste, seasonings and bouillon; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes until sauce has thickened. In a large bowl, mix cooked penne, Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese and beef/sauce mix. Pour mixture into a greased casserole dish and back 20 minutes. Sprinkle additional cheese over and bake another 5-10 minutes; until cheese is melted.
