Fettuccini Alfredo
Ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) box fettuccini noodles
1 ½ cups heavy cream
½ cup half & half
1 stick butter
2 T. cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 t. garlic powder
½ t. pepper
Instructions:
Cook fettuccini noodles in boiling salted water until cooked through.
In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Simmer together until butter and cheese has melted and sauce begins to thicken; 6-8 minutes. Add the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and pepper. Simmer on low an additional 10 minutes until desired sauce consistency is reached. Serve over a bed of warm fettuccini noodles.
