Skillet Pork Chops & Rice
Ingredients:
6 (1/4- inch) pork chops
2 T. butter
1 cup uncooked rice
1 cup onion, chopped
½ cup green bell pepper
1 t. salt
½ t. pepper
2 chicken bouillon cubes, dissolved in 2 ½ cup hot water
Instructions:
In a large skillet, brown pork chops in butter; set aside. Pour rice into pan that chops were cooked in, stirring constantly, until golden brown; about 5 minutes. Add onion and pepper; cook veggies until tender. Add bouillon water and simmer rice and veggies over low heat until liquid has evaporated, about 15-20 minutes. Lay pork chops over rice the last 10 minutes.
